Could you please check my sentences for grammar mistakes and if I used rigth vocabulary?
She is aware of her academic shortcomings and this is a source of emberrassement to her. Self-deception is a techinque she employs on daily bases to combat her problem. For example, books she chooses to read are high above her comprehension and decoding skills, but they are the books her peers read. Also, she tends to assume a role of a teacher even though she lacks knowledge and understanding on the topic.
