Hello everyone,

Is it okay to change "right" into comparative and superlative forms as follows?

right more right most right

right righter rightest

I think it's not possible because I see it as one of the absolute adjectives, but I searched in Google and saw that it can be changed.

Regards,

Joseph

Joseph A Is it okay to change "right" into comparative and superlative forms No. Like "perfect" and some other adjectives, "right" is not gradable. You may find some examples where words like "righter" or "more right" are used for effect, but they are not good choices, especially for academic writing.
