Hello everyone,

Could you please tell me if the following instructions are natural English?

1. Use "if" to turn/change the following sentence into conditional.

Study hard, and you'll pass the exam.

Answer/ If you study hard, you'll pass the exam.

2. Turn/Change the following sentence into conditional using "if".

Study hard, and you'll pass the exam.

Answer/ If you study hard, you won't pass the exam.

3. Turn/Change the following sentence into conditional using "unless".

Study hard, and you'll pass the exam.

Answer/ Unless you study hard, you won't pass the exam.

4. Use "if" instead of "unless" in the following sentence to convey the same meaning.

Unless you study hard, you'll fail the test.

Answer/ If you don't study hard, you'll fail the test.

If they aren't okay, could you please give me some natural alternatives?

Regards,

Joseph

Question 2 is the same (essentially) as question 1. The answer to 1 is correct, but the answer to 2, " If you study hard, you won't pass the exam", is illogical. I wonder whether you typed everything as you intended here.
