Hello, I want to ask this question:

Manage - Manageable (there is the verb plus able, it can be managed)

Measure - Measurable (it is the same case, but there is not e)

The question is, that why is there not the e, is it just an exception or is there a rule, that I don't know.

Thank you for any answers.

There is an "e" in "manageable" by the rule that if omitting it would change the pronunciation of the preceding consonant, you retain it to ease reading. "Ga" gets a hard "g".
