Are both these sentences gramatically correct or not?

1. There are few directors whose movies I would never go and watch in a theatre.

2. I got through journalism in english in UCLA.

This is OK in AmE. (In BrE we would say "cinema".)

Be sure, of course, that you mean "few" and not "a few".
