Hi,

1) I know that I can say:

“Could we meet later?”

However, would the sentence below be an option as well when talking to a friend or does it sound too formal?

“Could we push back our meeting time by five minutes?”

2)

“You can just speed up the video in the settings or setting?”

I’m talking about a video on Youtube. I’d probably use ‘settings’.

3) “Our teacher seats us separetely/splits us all up whenever we take a test.”

Are both options okay?

Thank you.

3) is unusual. In a classroom, there are no special seating arrangements during a test. This would only be used when two students, normally seated next to each other - are suspected of cheating, helping each other out on tests, and are therefore separated when a test is given: "Our teacher (suspects us of helping each other out on tests and) splits us up whenever we take a test."
