Grammar

A beautiful friend of mine expressed herself as below and I said that it has a grammatical problem! Will any on of the experts be kind and mention the issue:

" Guys! I am here just for chat and have fun for passing my time but No date!"

I told her "have fun" must be changed to " having fun" and she refused to agree. I wanted to know whether the highlighted sentence is correct or not. Thanks in advance.
