Which is correct? I was told that she and Rob would be in town. or I was told that her and Rob would be in town.

"Her would be in town" is impossible as a sentence on its own. You know that an object pronoun ( me, us, them, her, him ) cannot be the subject of a sentence, right? Therefore, it's impossible in "that her and Rob would be in town".
