Hi,

"My friend and I can't seem to put our schedules in sync."

I know that I can say 'synchronize our schedules' but I was wondering if this would be possible as well.

"I thought that the cramps were subsiding/going away but then I had a few flare-ups."

Could I use the word 'flare-up' if the pain suddenly became much worse?

Thank you.

Ann225 My friend and I can't seem to [put / get ] our schedules in sync. Fine. It seems to me that 'get' is more idiomatic than 'put' (as shown).
