Hi,

"Cook it over a medium heat/ medium heat."

"Turn the hot plate to a medium heat/medium heat."

I heard people use both options. I'd probably omit the indefinite article but I'm not sure.

One last thing. Could you give me a few synonyms for 'to comply with your request' and 'to follow through with your request'.
