Hello everyone ,

Is only present perfect possible in the following sentence?

- My apartment has a wonderful view over Central Park, and I have never felt so happy anywhere else in my life.

Or is past perfect also possible?as follow:

-My apartment has a wonderful view over Central Park, and I had never felt so happy anywhere else in my life.
