Question

1)Who wants to tell me about their holidays.

I think this sentence is not correct because of "their" in connection with wants. Am I just wrong?

2) Sara's family always go somewhere exciting for their holiday.

Is holidays here not more suitable? Family should be a singular noun?

1) I don't see any connection between "their" and "wants". "their" relates back to "who". "their" is used as a singular referring to whichever person is willing to take up the challenge announced. This sentence is correct as it stands.

2) Both "holiday" and "holidays" are correct. "family" is almost always treated as a singular noun in American English. It is almost always plural in British English.
