please examine the sentence and tell me is the usage of "apart from that" is correct or should I have used "besides"?

I play this game on this account. Besides, I play on two or three other accounts. There is no obvious reason here to say 'besides'. Natural English is to say just "I play this game on this account and on two or three others."
