Hi everyone,
1) I know that you can 'resit an exam', but is 'take a resit for an exam' also possible? I saw it on a website.
2) Can a wifi connection be feeble or does the word 'feeble' sound rather clumsy in this example?
For instance: ''The wifi connection in this spot is quite feeble. It keeps dropping out.''
3) If I was eating milk chocolate and it tasted a bit like strawberries (the chocolate would only had a bit of strawberry flavour in it), could I use the word 'tinge'? The chocolate had a strawberry tinge to it. It doesn't sound quite right to me.
Thank you. ![]()

It's not good English. People can resit or retake exams.
In American English, you retake an exam. "Sit" in not used.
A Wifi signal can be weak.
The chocolate has a hint of strawberry.
