Hello

Is it OK to change the subject pronoun 'you' to 'they' , 'I' and 'we' when we change the following direct speech into indirect speech?

Ex/ He asked 'Who are you?'.

1. He asked who we were.

2. He asked who I was.

3. He asked who they were.
