Thanks for the answer.
But "already" points to the past while "being" to the present.
Why not "has been" instead, like: "I'm afraid that "X" has been already being used by another member."?

I'm afraid that "X" is already being used by another member.

This means another member started using X in the past and is currently using it.

"I'm afraid that "X" has already been already used by another member."

This mean another member used it in the past.
