Hello everyone
Is the following sentence correct?
After he locked the door of his room, he went to the market.
or we must use past perfect after? as the following sentence
After he had locked the doo of his room, he went to the market.

Both are OK.. But when a word like 'after' makes the sequence of events clear, we usually use Simple Past.
