There is an article in CNN interactive English:
ISIS has millions selling oil from fields it controls in Syria and Iraq as much as $100 million in 2014. It is less now that the price of oil has fallen and the U.S. and its allies started bombing refineries.
my questions:
1.It is less now that.....
Why does the magazine use "that" rather than "because"?
2.made million selling oil from ......
Could I write: .made million from selling oil from .
because that there are two "from", the first one is omitted?
