Please help me choose which sentences are correct or any better suggestions to make it easier as a context?

A). So I was left contemplating the situation before reaching a decision whether cancel the appointment and reschedule or continue to wait for the person to show up.

B). So I was left contemplating the situation before making a decision whether to cancel the appointment and reschedule or continue to wait for the person to show up.

Thanks!

Instead of ‘reaching or making’, you might use: C) I was left contemplating the choice between whether to cancel the appointment and reschedule or (to) wait for the person to show up. ‘So’, might be the result of a previous rationale. If so, keep it.
