Hi,I have a question.Whats wrong with the following sentences grammatically?

I have got something to eat.
I have got a cup of coffee.

The book says i cant use "have got" but it seems okay to me

If you use "have got", you are probably in the majority of American speakers. I, on the other hand, am one of those in the minority. I use "have", as it seems to do the job just fine.
