Please see below. I want to talk about the past study (Obegi and Berant) . Is the following sentence right? For example, is the use of present tense (suggests, is) right? Thanks.

Obegi and Berant (2009) performed a regression analysis. Obegi and Berant (2009)’s research suggests secure attachment is associated with consistent and attuned caregiver behaviors that might contribute to the development of adequate intimacy skills.

Hi I don't think you need the date twice and I wouldn't try to put an apostrophe-s after the date in that way. In fact, you don't need to mention them twice by name: - Obegi and Berant (2009) performed a regression analysis. Their research suggests secure attachment is associated with consistent and attuned caregiver behaviors that might contribute to the development of adequate intimacy skills.
