Hi
Please tell me if this piece is grammatical and words used are appropriate.

Our English Curriculum has been framed keeping in the need for the today's generation to be appreciative both the good and bad of the world they are a part of so that they respond to life situations in a way that ends up doing the maximum good for the maximum number.
