Hey guys,

I was writing a dissertation and I was wondering whether
the following phrase was correct. The phrase seems a bit

"This topic was important to investigate because there is neither consensus among scholars in the theoretical literature nor in the empirical literature."

I appreciate all help

Thanks in advance,
