To compare actions do we use “as’, and to compare nouns, adjectives etc. do we use “like”?
He does things like his mother did. Is this is a wrong statement?

vishaljain23231 He does things like his mother did. The statement is correct, but not in the most elegant style. It would not be unusual for you to be advised to use 'as' instead of 'like in that sentence.
