Help me to complete this sentence. The answer options were underlined.

1. Ray, whose / whom / which / who's class is nearby, will be able to walk to work.

2. My parents will be going to the Japan to attend my sister’s graduation at / by / in / on March.

'untimely' means happening or done at an unsuitable time. I bet those who had the first telephones installed didn't consider the timing of this miracle of communication as 'untimely'!

What do/did you think 'untimely' means?

I thought untimely means too fast. In this context, the technology of the cell phone growing to fast.

There is a slight problem with question 2:
My parents will be going to the Japan to attend my sister’s graduation in March.

What about if we change Japan to United States. Is it still the same?

Why did you choose is instead of are? Is it because of the word much at the beginning of the sentence?

The US, the UK, the Netherlands, the Maldives, the Falkland Islands, and probably many more countries or protectorates all require the article "the". I think that the vast majority of countries, however, do not. Japan is one.

I thought untimely means too fast. In this context, the technology of the cell phone growing to fast.

Look at the rest of the sentence:
"...
and people had long ceased to be impressed by the sight of one."

That is, they were so common, they were no longer a new wond
