Hi
Please help me with this.
Wild water melons are usually..............than the huge cultivated ones; which weigh up to 25 kgs.
a) smaller
b) heavier

1.Which one of these best fits the place?
2. The clause "which weigh up to 25 kgs", which one does it modify-wild watermelons or the cultivated ones?
I think we usually associate the clause with the noun closest to it. In this case there is semicolon and that is why I the doubt.
Is a clause placed farther than the noun it modifies, in certain cases? If yes, when is it so?
