Traits of an efficient driver
A person to be called an efficient driver, he needs to have experience, devotion to duty, patience and self-confidence. He takes care that he treats others at work with due respect. Let us see how some of these traits are important.
Sense of Responsibility
Drivers must work keeping in mind not only their own safety but also the safety of all those who use the road. If they drive with precaution, they can prevent accidents and inconvenience to others. Drivers must know that they are solely responsible for the goods they carry in case it is goods carrier and passengers in case it is passenger vehicle.
Attention on the road
This involves a great deal of concentration on the part of the driver. The driver who must pay full attention on the road, takes utmost care that his attention does not distracted by wall posters, myriad of activities on the road sides and advertisement hoardings.
Anticipation
Total concentration to the road is the fundamental aspect of anticipation. When the driver gives all his attention to the road, he is able to perceive well in advance the directions the other drivers are intending to move and accordingly make necessary changes in his driving.
Patience
Even when the other drivers are at wrong and in case they are held up in a traffic jam, he should not lose his patience. He should not compete with other drivers on the road on any aspect.
