If you already know the answer and there's only one door that leads to the kitchen, then leads.
If you already know the answer and there is more than one door that leads to the kitchen, then lead.

If you don't know the answer, take a chance and say leads.

following is not the right word, however, unless you are presenting the doors as some sort of list in a kind of puzzle game.
