Hi, please help me.

I sometimes get confused about where I should put a "by..." phrase when I put some adverbs or adverb phrases in a row at the end of a sentence.

For example, where should I put "by a man armed with a knife" in the sentence below? Is there any rule?

"He was killed accidentally on the street this morning."
