Please point the grammatical mistakes in this piece, which is an answer to a question on a story. The story is about a devoted father.

Coachman Ali is a character conceived by Dhumaketu for the story The Letter. Coachman Ali is a devoted father, who in the last stretch of his life philosophies that the whole universe is built up through love and the greif of separation is inescapable.

Ali was a hunter till perhaps he was fifity. His sharp eyes made him an ace hunter.

Towards the evening of his life, Ali left hunting as he could no longer enjoy the sportsman's pleasure of seeing the bewildered terror of the young birds when they saw their parents dying before their eyes. This change came in him when he himself terribly felt pained after his daughter got married and left him.

After having understood that the world was bound by love, and only love, Ali displayed utmost patience and tolerance when people criticised him for waiting with boundless hope, for a letter frrom his daughter for five long years.

The love he had for his daughter and the sympathetic understanding he had for the people around, showed that he had turned into a person who could accept people with all their shortcomings.
