1.They were worried that they did not lead a settled life. Is the portion in bold idiomatic?

2. They gave us free televsion sets/ televsion sets for free.

3. I was sitting simply. Is this idiomatic? If yes, what about 'He was simply sitting'?

1.They were worried that they did not lead a settled life. Is the portion in bold idiomatic? It seems idiomatic enough to me.

2. They gave us free televsion sets/ televsion sets for free. Both correct. (I prefer the first.)
