Hi,

Could you tell me which is idiomatic?

When he took the medicine his headache got cured and he felt better.

When he took the medicine he felt better as his headache got cured.

The description of it as a headache being cured is not idiomatic. These are more idiomatic. Phrases in parentheses are optional: When he took the medicine, he felt better (because/as his headache went away).
