Can you help me in which tense is the following sentence:

I would buy you the tickets if you gave me the money

I know is present unreal situation That is the second conditional and that it contains a main clause and an if clause. How can I explain to my students in what tense is would buy???

Rule is: If clause past simple vs. main clause would+ simple form of the verb.
