AlpheccaStarsAnd more generally, any uncapitalized word.That brings up a question of my own. I always leave a word uncapitalized if it's an italicized word that is the subject of discussion. For example, a student asks about the verb have. In that post, if have begins a sentence, I do it like this:

To me, using quotation marks is the answer. One can capitalize or not as appropriate.
"have" follows 'I', 'you', 'we' and 'they'.
"Have" is one of the words that can start a question.
