Can someone help edit this sentence:
Admittedly, not easily accepted as institutions of choice, we contemplate the ways long-term care and prisons could act not only as community spaces, but as community-building spaces
My way of edit would be:
We contemplate the ways long-term care and prisons, which are admittedly not easily accepted as institutions of choice, could act as community-building spaces in addition to being community spaces.
Any more better version than this?

Any more better version than this? 'Consider' seems to me a more suitable word than 'contemplate'..
