please help me to destinguish in the correct meaning between i have lived here for ten years and i have been living here for ten years.

another question how to know that this tense ephasize the progressive or the incomplete activity in these examples :

i have been reading this book for hours.

i have been reading this book since yoy came

please ! which one emphasize the progress or the incompletion ?

There is no difference worth considering for more than ten seconds! By using living -- with the -ing -- you may be inviting the listener to imagine more of the details of daily living.
