Someone else holds that D is the correct answer.
He asserts it's non-restrictive "which" clauses.

But I am confused how to determine why it is non-restrictive "which" clauses.

D is indeed the correct answer.

I would explain it this way.

It's important to remember that a comma represents a pause in speech. If I said this sentence aloud, I would pause after 'angry' in order to let the listener absorb the complete idea of 'feels sad/upset/angry'.

This pause shows the listener that the ensuing 'which' clause relates to all three adjectives. Without the pause, the listener is likely to think that the 'which' clause relates only to 'feels . . . angry'.
