Even though it would be impossible to count them in reality, grammatically speaking, they are countable.Emotion: star

Uncountable nouns are things that generally are too small to have significance if you have just one of the object: sand, rice, water, etc. These have to be modified to count: One grain of sand, two grains of rice, three drops of water.
