This is awkwardly worded and the meaning unclear. If nothing sounds quite right, try rewording to avoid the confusion. I can't tell if a unit has one, two or more modules. For example, do you mean "The unit is composed of one of two types of modules." (I don't like this either, too many of's) Or is it composed (I would prefer the word "comprised") of several modules from two general ty
