Gramma and conversation

Hi there,
I'm new here. Please advice me if I post it in the wrong place.
I'm not good in English and visit this site in hope that I can improve my English.
When someone calls me on phone,
For example,
Ales: May I speak to Hoe? (Hoe is my name)
Me: Yes, its me. / Yes, I am. / Yes, Hoe is speaking (any one is right grammatically?)

He is talking. (subject + is/are + verb+ing)
On/in 10 October 2013?
Please correct the sentences above if its wrong grammatically.

Thanks.

Hello AlpheccaStars,

'Yes, this is Hoe speaking'. informal?
On/in October? In 2013?
I think 'they' is for people only. It can be used for animal and object like chair?

Thanks.

Hi AlpheccaStars,
1)'Yes, this is Hoe speaking' Is that informal?
2)'They/He talking' is wrong because without 'are/is' in between the subject and verb?
3)on/in October?
Besides,

JHTAN)'Yes, this is Hoe speaking' Is that informal?
It is formal. If someone asks to speak to Hoe, that is informal. If someone asks to speak to Mr. Tan, that is formal.
Answer the same way that they ask:

A: May I speak with Hoe?
Hoe: Yes, This is Hoe speaking.
--------------------------------
A: May I speak with Mr. Tan?
Hoe: Ye

Hi,
1)after 'to/did' we use simple present.
For instance,
a)I like to eat fish.
b)Did you eat apple yesterday?

2)when to use 'do/are' when asking question?
do you like to eat fish?

Please feel free to commend.
Thanks.
