Could you please tell me which one of the following questions are gramaticaly correct:

"What does it meant to be an American?"

or

"What it means go be an American?"

I am glad I was able to find the EnglishForward.com and I am grateful to you for taking time to answer my question.

I sincerely thank you for your prompt response. Incidentally, the word "meant" was actually was intended to be "mean" but sometimes old fingers go faster than the older brain and tired eyes can not catch errors.
