Grades, votes, ranks?

Good morning.

I’m very confused about something. Let’s pretend that me and a friend of mine are in highschool, in the and that we do a test. If I want to know if he got A,B,C,D,..ect.. for that test,

- what is the proper specific question that I ask him?:

What did the teacher rate you? What grade did you get? (I’m not talking about questions like: how did it go?, etc…….)

At the end of the school year, can I call “GRADES” the As,Bs,Cs,Ds that I have in the studied subjects.

Thanks a lot, Gennaro Giannini

#1 I would have asked "What were your results like?" OR "What grades did you get?"

Hi,

#1 There are several possibilities, as noted by Feebs. I'd just say "What did you get (on the test)?"

As, Bs, Cs, ... are grades. Yes.

What grade did you get? is fine.
