Grabs/holds/touches/rubs his stomach

Polly: I'll make a deal with you. If you can see three birds and say their names before I do, I'll pay for your breakfast.

Dave: It's a deal! (grabs his stomach) I can hear my stomack is making noises already!

Hi,

We'd never say "grab his stomach" in our mother tongue. Instead, we do say "rub/touch his stomach."

So, are they about the same? Besides, are they also equal to "holds his stomach?" Thanks.

'Grab', yes-- it is a vigorous action, which is appropriate to your exclamation marks. 'Rub, touch, hold' are all possible in different situations of less impetuosity.
