0Grasp just means to take hold of something. Grab means to do so in a more physical, even violent, manner.02br

00This one does not deal with the same issue but my question is, in the phrase "the child's hand,"is "the" the determiner for hand or what? I get confused about this general area of grammar like this when "the" is placed before a noun with apostrophies, most of the times, I don't whether it (the) is functioning as a derterminer for one or another.02br
