Grab coffee - meaning ?

Could anyone tell me .. what does “grab coffee mean in the following sentence and also is this grammatically correct ?


Hey, Do you wanna grab coffee this afternoon, I know a really nice cafe around the corner.

1. Does this mean going out and having coffee at the cafe?


2. And also would it be correct to say “Do you want to grab some coffee this afternoon?
