Governments are encouraging industries and businesses to move from large cities to the regional areas. Do the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In the state-of-the-art technology, the growing number of vehicles and buildings is overwhelming. It is believed that it is unnecessary for governments to carry out a variety of strategies to support people to relocate to somewhere less crowded. From my point of view, however, the recommendation of firms to move to the countryside is a must.

On the one hand, the relocation of corporations to rural areas brings out several benefits. There is no doubt that the more enterprises are built, the more job opportunities are created. With the advent of new factories and companies, citizens in the hinterland can catch the job easily, which can enable them to achieve a higher income to improve their standard of living. In addition, the transition period can minimize the financial gap between rural and urban areas. Really, when corporations operating in the countryside spring up, which assists rural economy in thriving. As a result, there is more foreign investment thus discouraging more individuals from residing in urban areas.

On the other hand, the movement of enterprises out of metropolitan areas does more harm than good. The arrival of business can trigger environmental deterioration in the area. It is obvious that the industrial practices implemented by these companies release a remarkable amount of waste into the environment. If such businesses pay little attention to waste treatment, there will be more contaminated land and water. Moreover, this policy can pose a threat to insufficient intellectual labor. It is true that in small towns, people could face difficulties in getting access to education due to lack of educational institutions and cutting-edge devices.

In conclusion, encouraging businesses to move to the regional areas makes a great contribution to tackling housing and traffic problems. As far I am concerned, it is a good idea for governments to give out some policies that ensure environmental conservation.
