Got/Bought

Hello all Teachers!

* A: I just stop by with this-it’s for you.

B: Thanks, but you shouldn’t have.

- What does “shouldn’t have” mean?

* I just got it at Sears.

- Does “just got” here mean “have just bought” ?

* Want me to come get you?

- Does this mean: want me to come to pick you up?

* I’m sorry I was late to class.

- Can I use “for” instead of “to”?

Thanks so much to all Teachers.
