Got or Gotten?

Hi, this is my sentence: And though I haven't yet got/gotten around to signing up, I usually depend on its free promos for new movies.

I have a guess, but I want to be 100% sure. Thank you.

ForumUser And though I haven't yet got/gotten around to signing up, ... I'm American and both seem fine to my ear. I was always taught that only Americans use "gotten", but I was told on this forum that "gotten" also occurs in British English, so I can't answer which is preferred in BrE.

'Gotten' is little used in BrE except by those who are trying to sound American.
