GOT ME SICK vs MADE ME SICK

Hello,

I don't know if one would use both

1 She got me sick.

and

2 She made me sick.

As in I got the flu from her?

Thank you

Generally, in American English we would use the former and not the latter. " and I could see someone possibly being confused that she did something that disgusted you.

Generally, in American English we would use the former and not the latter. The second sentence sounds more related to "It made me sick to see..." and I could see someone possibly being confused that she did something that disgusted you.
