Got it?

"...Twilight Sparkle. Got it!"

I know the phrase "got it" has the same meaning to "I understood it" but in the context(finish writing a letter) such a meaning doesn't fit well. So could you tell me what this "Got it" means? Thanks in advance:)

Thanks as as usual, CJ and is this meaning of "got it"(showing your success) able to be used for various contexts such as a kit car completion?

No. This meaning refers only to a successfully received communication.

You would have to show me the dialog for the kit car case before I could make a judgment on that.

Oh, so this can't be used in monolog?

Monolog? Just one person talking?

No. It doesn't make sense to say "Got it" to acknowledge the receipt of information when there is no other person there to say it to, no other person who gave the information.
